Parish
Fire District 6 is located in the south-central part of Caddo
parish and responds to a wide variety of
calls including Fire, EMS, and Hazardous-Material calls and provides Advance Life Support
Ambulance Service. The ambulance service is provided on a
fee basis and is not supported with its own tax.
Fire District 6 has 3 stations - Station 1 houses a pumper, a
tanker, and an ALS ambulance. Station 2 houses a pumper,
tanker, and a rescue. Station 3 is unmanned and houses a pumper and a
tanker which are manned as the case may be. Stations 1 and 2
each has a Firefighter/EMT to man the pumpers, and Station 1 has
at least one Paramedic to man the ALS ambulance.
